History: What the hell is Purity Devotion?

Devotion Alpha
Codename:None

View:(All records of Devotion Alpha are locked away and or lost)
Devotion Alpha was my first site, hosted on Crosswinds. It was ugly, but it created the basis for kamania, projects, and all of Devotion

Version:Devotion 1
Codename:Negative Black

Devotion 1 was my pride and joy. From the index, the Rant/Daily fun arose. My few submissions were hosted. My art/stories.projects were up. I loved it...exepct for one minor problem. The entrie site was an inverted free-web template. I spent a lot of time making it my own, but at it's heart, it was still a template. So I moved on...

Devotion 2
Codename:KONSTANT

Devotion 2 was my my site. Everything was mine. It's navigation was flash, based of a Minidisc player. Differen't discs took you different places. In addition to the Devotion-2 established norms, My java, games, and photos were added. Devotion 2's downfall was a two part blow. The first was the ovrall design. As much as I loved it, it was slow and often counter-intuitve. I needed something freidnly to more bandwith's and easier to get to. The second and more deadly blow was my entire realiance on Adobe's GoLive....

Devotion 3
Codename: Purity Devotion

Purity Devotion was never meant to take over. Devotion 2 was only around 10 months old, and in my mind had some "umpf" left in it. Purity Devotion was meant to be a Low-Bandwith little brother to Devotion 2. The original Version Number was 2.1 and ta codename consideration was "Devotion 2: Deviant." Puruty Devotion also was meant to prove something to myself. That I didn't need any HTML edotor beside Simpletext. Don't get me wrong, editors like Golive and Dreamweaver are fantastic. They do ltos of the work for you and can often save time. But I felt i was loosing touch with HTML. One day, when I couldn't update my rant from a Golive lacking computer, i realized somthing was wrong.

Keeping one site is hard enough. I decided to make Purity Devotion my cenral site. For now Devoton 2 goes to the archives. Maybe someday it will return, faster and more comprehenble. Until then Purity Devotion is here and things are looking good.

Notes on Devotion version 3, aka Purity Devotion

This is the "Powered by Digital Blue " Logo. Digital blue is my ficitious energy source in the "EPB!" Universe. These logos are planted at the end of each page, with a saying, qoute, or word. In the tradition of Randoman, this is updated at any time to say anything. Sometime they will have a ery deep meaning, and sometimes they will be pure silly-ness.

More to come as soon as I compile my manifesto.
